2010 First Step Academies
Following the success of the 2010 Academies, First Step return with another new term of fun activities all provided in a safe and rewarding environment. All activities are taught by specialists in their chosen area, providing your child with the most up to date delivery of skills and knowledge.
East Yorkshire and Loughborough courses run week commencing January 25th and South Wales courses start 28th January

First Step Academies are a great way to get involved in a wide range of Activities. Our aim is to provide opportunities in the community for children to develop their movement skills, academies are open to all regardless of ability or experience. As well as performances and presentations at the end of the course, we run award schemes for each academy giving all members something to aim for. We also work closely with local sports networks to provide exit routes in the local clubs.

Cheerleading is developing into one of British Gymnastics' most innovative and exciting new disciplines. With this in mind we have developed an accomplished program that incorporates fundamental aspects of both cheerleading and gymnastics whilst generating and maintaining children’s enjoyment. Our Cricket Academies are a perfect way of bing introduced to all aspects of cricket. Our links to local clubs provide children with an opportunity to continue playing cricket during the season. We offer the chance to play cricket in a fun and structured environment, so don't miss the chance to take part in our cricket academy near you.

Our Dance teachers are equipped with both professional dance experience as well as all the relevant qualifications in a wide variety of dance styles. This means as well as being able to offer the teaching of fun dance routines for all abilities, we have the knowledge and experience to provide specialist techniques and guidance for all styles such as contemporary, musical theatre, ballet, street, jazz and hip hop.
